Surrounded by farmland with stunning views of the Sidlaw hills, Fairygreen cottage is the perfect countryside getaway. Built in 1872 for the Estate’s stockman, this traditional Scottish cottage has been lovingly restored and remodelled internally to provide incredible comfort for a peaceful holiday. The cottage features two spacious rooms with kingsize beds, an ensuite and separate bathroom. We welcome children of all ages and a travel cot and highchair can be provided at no extra cost.

Get lost in the trails of the Estates three heather hills – Kings Seat, Black Hill and Dunsinnane Hill - and take your own walking safari to spot deer, grey partridge, grouse, red squirrels and of course our resident cows and sheep
Marvel at the roaring rapids and stunning waterfalls on a walk along the banks of the River Tay at the Hermitage - finish at the rumbling bridge for a picnic
Visit the beautiful village of Dunkeld, have a coffee and pastry at the famous Aran bakery and finish the day on the banks of the River Tay with a woodfired pizza
Dine at the Meikleour Arms for some pub grub or visit one of our nearby farm shops including the Barrie Box, Gloagburn or the Strawberry Shop

Fairygreen Cottage has been certified by Sustonica, the first sustainability standard for short-term lets, as a sustainable holiday rental. We are continuing to improve our green credentials at the cottage and remain committed to providing local produce, using eco friendly cleaning products, smart heating systems and maintaining excellent levels of insulation in this historic building.
The estate’s woodlands help to capture around 2000 tonnes of carbon every year, over twice the amount we generate, ensuring we are a carbon negative organisation.
